- Billing Data: Billing and payment information is handled externally by Google Play or Apple App Store. We do not store or process payment information directly.

We do not use GPS or background location data. Only the state you manually provide in your profile is stored.
2. How We Use Your Information
We may use your information for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your user account.
- To send reminders about upcoming certification or license expirations.
- To provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
- To improve, maintain, and personalize the app experience.
- To send notifications or communications regarding account activity, renewal reminders, app updates, or marketing offers.

We may use third-party services or APIs such as, but not limited to:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) for cloud hosting.
- Google Analytics or Firebase for usage tracking and performance monitoring.
- ChatGPT or Google Gemini for AI-driven functionality.
- Email or messaging providers for user communications.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We may share user data only in the following circumstances:

8. Children’s Privacy
FreedomCert is not directed toward individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided us information, we will promptly delete it.
9. Regional Privacy Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Even though our app is intended primarily for U.S. users, we include these rights for transparency:
- California Residents (CCPA): You may request disclosure of the categories of personal information collected, and request deletion of personal data, by contacting help@freedomcert.com.
- European Union (GDPR): If applicable, you may exercise rights of access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing by contacting us directly.
We do not sell personal data, as defined by either CCPA or GDPR.

Our servers are expected to be located in the United States (e.g., AWS data centers). If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States under U.S. data protection laws.
